Obituary:
Mr. Sam Aaron Maney, age 79 of Smyrna, TN died September 23, 2009 at the Stonecrest Medical Center. He was born on December 4, 1929 in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Elizabeth Rucker and Thomas Maney and was raised in Murfreesboro TN.

As an adult, he worked at the Athens Paper Company in Nashville, Tennessee and most recently, resided at the Mayfield Rehabilitation & Special Care Center in Smyrna, TN.

He was a member of Silver Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN.

His survivors include his brothers, James T. Maney and Joe D. Maney; nephew, Tommy Vaughter and many other relatives and friends.
