He is survived by his wife, Velverly Smith; brother, Eric Smith; sisters, Quintella Taylor, Mary Helen Smith; mother-in-law, Evelyn Wiggins; sisters-in-law, Brenda Tucker, Sandra Wiggins and brother-in-law, Lyman Wiggins and other relatives.

Mr. Smith worked as a maintenance technician at Cinram in LaVergne, TN.
