Obituary:
David Lamar Brown was born July 12, 1962 to Jesse and Gladys Brown. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marita Phillips.

He professed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Keelam Hayes at Cedar Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. He played the piano and sang in the youth choir, as well.

David is survived by his devoted parents, Jessie Thomas and Gladys Brown; devoted sisters, Cheryl D. Brown, Rosalind Brown and Adrienne (Samuel) Russell; nieces, LaToya (Jason) Lusk, Latosha Phillips and Camille Mayes; nephews, Todd Lee, Jahmar Phillips and Maliq Russell; great nieces; uncles, John (Elmira) Howse, Leonard (Ivory) Howse, Richard Howse and Howard Howse; aunt, Mary Bell (James) Dunston; great aunts, Matilda Bond and Allie Mary Hughes; great uncle, George Knight and a host of cousins and friends.
